my morning jacket (seen in the link above at coachella) performed a tighter (not better or worse) version of this song on last night's saturday night live.
i love this band. jim james has a classic voice. and the feel of their music is free. he covered 'goin' to acapulco' in a surreal scene from 'i'm not there' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnVVKANqP3s. which reminds me that everyone should spend some time with the basement tapes.
